Education/Career Summary

I attended Rutgers University in 2017 and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and a minor in HR. Originally, I was set to graduate in 2021 with the rest of my class, but I discovered an interest in the HR field, so I decided to extend my graduation date by a year to complete my minor.

The summer before graduation, I took on a role as an Employee Communications Associate at Fitch Ratings, where I was responsible for curating content for internal employee news and strategizing ways to help employees feel more engaged at work by delivering important updates at the right place at the right time.

During the summer, I did some reflecting and I solidified my interest in getting involved in a more externally facing field within HR such as Talent Acquisition.

Fortunately, a role in Talent Acquisition opened up, and long story short, I interviewed with the team internally and secured my first full-time role as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator.

On August 22nd, 2022, I started my first full-time job, and have been in this role for the last two years.

I wear many hats in this role, from recruiting for Early Talent Programs, coordinating interviews, and onboarding candidates, to presenting in front of audiences about Fitch as an employer of choice.

Although I’ve learned an immense amount in my current role, I wanted to become an even greater asset to my team, so I decided to pursue a Master’s in Human Capital Analytics at NYU. Through this program, I’ll be able to integrate data and technology to help guide the TA team in making more evidence-based decisions in a wide range of facets within the function.
